The objectives I had for this week were to learn more about Ergonomics, finish my Lottery Ticket Record Keeping Program, and learning how to create animation in Visual Basic. The skills I learned this week were learning more about Ergonomics and how important it is in daily life, how to calculate the biggest, smallest, how many days it took to sell 200 tickets, and how to make an object move from left to right and up to down in a Visual Basic Program. My future goals are to incorporate everything I learn into one program.
The work that I completed this week was I finished my Lottery Ticket Record Keeping Program and submitted it for marks, and finished the first part of my program for the animation part. The work that I wasn't able to complete this week was the second part of the animation program and studying for the Ergonomics test.
This week I had some challenges with the creating of the codes. I have the tendency to ask for help all the time instead of concentrating and figuring it out myself. Later on, I understand how to finish off the code and submit it for marking. I caught up to everyone else at the end of the week.

I didn't complete much work this week because of all the commotion that has been going on. I still have to finish my Lottery Ticket Record Keeping Project and study for the test on Ergonomics in the future.
This week I had some challenges with the creating of the codes. I have the tendency to ask for help all the time instead of concentrating and figuring it out myself. Later on, I understand how to finish off the code and submit it for marking. Also because I was short on time from not being in class for a small period of time, I fell behind.

The objectives I had for this week were to finish the Digital Clock Program which consisted of creating a clock on a form that shows the time that is on the Windows screen, do the group presentations about the different computer related careers, and review for the quiz which was today. The skills I learned this week were how to use the Timer Control in the Visual Basic Program and how to incorporate it into a stopwatch. My future goals are to incorporate everything I learn into one program.
The work I completed this week was finishing the Digital Clock Program and the Stopwatch program which interveaned with each other and the presentations of our careers. Also I completed the test of Thursday, April 26, 2007 and I found it quite easy. I still have to do one or two more programs for the for next and exit loops. Either than that there was nothing else that I needed to complete.
This week I didn't have any challanges because we didn't have many programs to create codes for which is the challenge for me. Also because we had a half day on Tuesday we didn't do much. Since there were no challenges, there were no solutions either. In the end, this week was quite a relaxing one.

The objectives I had for this week were to finish the mini slide show application in which it opens file images using a for..next loop, finishing the programs that used the exit for statement, finish the computer-related jobs report which consisted of research on 6 different careers. The skills I learned this week were using the for next statement and the exit for statement in my programs. Also I learned how to write a proper report. My future goals are to incorporate everything I learn into one program.
The work I completed this week was most of the for next and exit for loops and the report about the computer related jobs. I still have to do one or two more programs for the for next and exit loops. Either than that there was nothing else that I needed to complete. I will study for the test coming up in the future.
I had many challenges this week with the program we had to create. It was mainly with the code, not with the design itself. We mainly got help from the teacher and a bit from fellow students. The solutions were the help we got from the people around us which helped us create the perfect program to hand in. Also for time management for the report, I had some difficulty because one of our group members was not in class so it put more pressure on my part.

The objectives I had for this week were to finish the project that was assigned to us in which we are able to work with partners or in groups that the teacher chose for us. The skills I learned this week were to cooperate in a group, to compromise with how much each person is suppose to contribute, and to use all the skills we learned from the lessons that the teacher taught us. My future goals are to create a program that is very technical and challenging.
The work I completed this week was the Pizza Palace program, which consisted of creating the form design and codes, the 3 dialog boxes for changing the prices of the Pizza/Toppings/Sides/Drinks, and creating the codes so the dialog boxes will connect with the rest of the program. There was no work that I did not complete this week. I will edit and look over the program to make sure nothing is wrong with it.

The objectives I had for this week were to finish the Strings Tutorial program, learn how to create a Menu Strip and Dialog Box, learn how to connect the Dialog Box with Form 1, and to finish the Payroll Application program. The skills I learned this week were to create the Menu Strip and the SubMenu's inside the Main Menu, creating the dialog box and connecting it with Form 1 of your original program, and putting everything together. My future goals are to create a program with all the skills I have learned.
The work I have completed this week is the Strings Tutorial program, Payroll Application program including its extension, and the Literacy Test. I have completed all the work that has been given to me so far. I will plan for the project that is being given out on Monday, April 2, 2007.
The challenges and solutions I had to go though this week were to finish the Payroll Application program by figuring out the right program and adding on the extension to the first program. The solutions to my problems were to ask the classmates around me for help and ask the teacher to figure out the error that was keeping my program from running.
